Once you've chosen your hanging system, it's time to select the best hooks to meet your needs. Systematic Art offers great choices, so how do you pick? If you've decided to use cables, available with each of the cable systems as well as ceiling attachments, tensioned display systems, and sign suspension kits, there are 12 hooks from which to select. Here are some tips:

Low-Weight Frames: The maximum weight for these hooks ranges from 12 lbs (5.4 kgs) to 26 lbs (11.7 kgs) on stainless steel cables and is 10 lbs (5 kgs) for the hooks that take nylon cables.

Heavy-Weight Frames: These choices support either 50 lbs (22 kgs) or 135 lbs (61 kgs).

Unframed Gator or Foam Boards: Because of its trough shape, two hooks can be used to suspend gator or foam board, with one right side up at the bottom and one upside down at the top.

Nylon Cables: Most of these nylon cable hooks are appropriate for low weights, except for the Self-Gripping - (Utility) - Security Hook, rated for weights up to 50 lbs (22 kgs).

Moulding Hooks and Loop-End Cables: This is the choice when using moulding hooks with wooden picture rails and loop-end cables, although the hook is also compatible with most other cables. It is a good choice for small items and is rated for weights up to 32 lbs (14.5 kgs).

Security Hooks: These hooks have a feature to prevent objects from dislodging or slipping off their hooks.

All-Around Hooks: These versatile options hold up to 32 lbs (14.5 kgs) on stainless-steel cables and are compatible with cable rod, ceiling couplers, hanging cables, and tension systems.
